Buckingham Electrical were enlisted to enhance the lighting infrastructure at a facility in East Bowling by transitioning from high-pressure sodium (HPS) lighting to energy-efficient LEDs. Recognising the facility's continuous operation, there was a critical examination of operational overheads. Subsequently, a decision was made to deploy a new lighting system aimed at optimising energy consumption during nighttime hours.
The project involved the removal of all existing HPS lighting, which was then systematically replaced with high-performance 300W LED floodlights. This strategic upgrade not only embraced energy efficiency but also aimed at minimising running costs, aligning with the facility's commitment to sustainability and operational excellence around the clock.
