This project was a modest installation, prompted by the transformation of a previously derelict space into a functional area. The decision was made to introduce a new distribution board, deriving power from an existing spare 250-ampere Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) located in the primary panel board. Anticipating the substantial demand for circuits in this newly operational zone, the installation plan not only addressed the immediate requirements but also allowed for the incorporation of a second distribution board in the future, ensuring adaptability and scalability.

The installation comprised of a 40-meter, 5-core 95mm Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) cable. The integrity of the cabling system was maintained through the installation of 600mm ladder racking and a 6x6" galvanised trunking, mounted on Uni-Strut kick stands. This robust infrastructure not only facilitated an orderly routing of cables but also guaranteed stability and durability. In addition to the core electrical components, the installation included local task and emergency lighting. A 16-ampere 110-volt cleaners socket was also installed.
